Guest Presenter Inspires Science Study

The third-grade science classes had the wonderful opportunity of learning about the skeletal system, the muscular system, our spinal column and how they work together thanks to Dr. Shebovsky, who enthusiastically explained what the chiropractic field does to help people and the importance of taking care of our bones and muscles.

Dr. Shebovsky commented on the good understanding that students had when responding to his questioning. Students were also eager and excited to demonstrate their new knowledge in this area of science.

Third-grade teacher, Ms. Mariani, was appreciative for this real world connection to the unit students are presently studying in science class, students were able to connect what they are learning to the real world and participate in a wonderful experience.
