WPS Parent Joey Fatone Makes Dancing with the Stars Semifinals
Many members of the WPS community have been following Joey Fatone’s quest to become a Dancing with the Stars champion. This week for the first time, despite placing second with the show’s judges, Fatone managed to end up in the bottom two. He managed to survive elimination, but he needs our help. The scoring is divided evenly between the judges and the viewers at home, ensuring unpredictable outcomes at the end of every results show. What that means is that Joey needs more votes from the viewing audience than he got last week. Fatone, a musician/actor/Broadway star was a member of one of the most popular singing groups of all-time, *NSYNC, which holds the records for the most albums sold in a single day and week. Fatone has also starred in movies My Big Fat Greek Wedding and The Cooler, and the Broadway musicals, Rent and Little Shop of Horrors. But, more importantly he is a WPS parent, and we all need to support him in the semifinals this Monday night. Fatone and his partner Kym Johnson have received some impressive marks and accolades from the judges, but this past week proved that he needs more votes from those of us viewing at home.Be sure to tune in to your ABC channel on Monday, May 14, at 8 p.m. You can begin voting from the beginning of the show. To vote for Fatone you need to call 1-800-868-3405. You will be allowed four votes per phone line. Phone lines stay open for approximately 30 minutes after the end of the show. You can also vote online. You need to register at www.abc.com to be able to vote, but once you do, you will be allowed an additional four votes online. Fatone has consistently worked hard each week, so be sure to vote to support one of our own.
