Seventh Graders Compete in Windermere Prep Science Fair
Windermere
Prep seventh graders recently showed their science acumen
and competed for laurels in a Science Fair. Students
displayed their findings on subjects from hydroponics
to germs.
Third
place honors went to Alex Ontko for his study “Does
CO2 Affect Plant Life?” Second Place went to Natalia
Schneider, for “What Do Pineapples Grow Best In?”
And, first place was awarded to Aneri Pandya for “Organic
or Inorganic: What Fertilizer is Better?”
Best
presentation honors went to two seventh graders: Christian
Bell for “Balloons & Bananas,” and Collin
McCullough for “How Light Affects Plants.”
Best Display was awarded to Barbara Primera for “How
to Build a Modern Day Fossil.”
Additionally,
honorable mentions laurels were awarded to Paige Leary,
Miranda Cacciatore, Ryan McKercher, Steven Xie, Drew
Yarnell, Tyler Santostefano, Grayce Larson, Jeanyesa
Caban, and Heidi Verner.
