Family Picnic Features Family Book Crafting

With the backdrop of student artwork on display, families attending the recent Windermere Preparatory School Spring Picnic had the opportunity to channel their own artistic talents into creating a book together. Second grade student Karlee Gordon (left) and her father Randy spent some quality time together crafting their own unique book using a Klutz “Build-a-Book” kit.  These book kits -- which included blank pages, felt pieces, glue, and googly eyes -- were available for purchase at the Scholastic Book Fair being held concurrently at the school. Families were encouraged to make books together, to create lasting memories.
