AFTER SCHOOL CARE (LEAP)

The Lakers Extended-day Activity Program (LEAP) provides for after school care, activities and additional educational opportunities. It's available to all WPS students in grades Pre K4 and above. Children who need extended day services report to LEAP after dismissal.

•LEAP is available on both a full-time basis (every day) and part-time basis (only on designated days, such as every Tuesday and Thursday).
•LEAP is also available on a drop-in basis. If you need to have your child as a LEAP drop-in, please call the School Office and leave a phone number where you can be reached or inform your child’s homeroom teacher.
•There are no LEAP services on early dismissal days or student holidays.
•LEAP emergency forms must be filled out for your child to attend.
•LEAP is in operation from dismissal until 6:00 p.m. each full school day. LEAP ends promptly at 6:00 p.m. There are no provisions for the program to extend beyond 6:00 p.m. as all WPS faculty are scheduled to depart at 6:00 p.m. Late fees will be assessed if pick-up occurs after that time.
•LEAP tuition and late fees will be billed to your student’s account.

Daily drop in rate: $15 per day
