DIGITAL BACKPACKS

At Windermere Prep, all students in grades five and above have their own laptops, creating a learning-anywhere-anytime environment on our 48-acre wireless Internet access campus. We know the importance of applying technologies in the pursuit of excellence. The use of laptops is integrated into all curricular areas at WPS and is an integral factor in our culture of scholarship.

Each student has a laptop in our middle school and upper school years and all students have access to computers in their classrooms. Starting in our pre-kindergarten for three-year-olds program, students have a set of computers in their classroom and use applications for age-appropriate study and are primed for their digital backpacking days ahead. Our students are as comfortable with computers as their parents were with pens and books.
