Form I consists of grades five and six. In this form, students develop critical reading techniques, refine grammatical skills and continue to write extensively. Mathematics instruction continues to build the strong foundation necessary for higher level learning. Students are expected to use their personal laptops in each class and create presentations involving word processing, spreadsheets, and Power Point software. Additionally, parents, teachers, and students, communicate on a daily basis through e-mail and the Internet. In this form, students continue their study of Spanish with an emphasis on conversational Spanish. One of the hallmarks of form I is the interactive, conversational method of instruction. Group work and partner projects are encouraged. The classroom dynamics inspire active exchanges of ideas between students and teacher.
