Windermere Preparatory School is a private college preparatory school educating students from grades pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. We are a member of the Meritas Family of Schools and are located on a 48 acre campus in southwest Orlando. We draw students from all religious, ethnic and international backgrounds and enjoy a truly diverse, multicultural academic community with the common goal of academic excellence. As ideals our students and faculty live by, our school crest has the Latin words for Knowledge - Veritas, Virtue - Virtus, and Unity - Unitas.
Our students are equipped with knowledge, the desire to seek the truth and fortitude to become life-long learners who are prepared for college, socially responsible, and able to succeed in a changing society. Our philosophy provides an educational environment that fosters civic virtue, which includes honesty, integrity, trust, self-worth, self-discipline, respect for authority, concern for others, appreciation for a free-market global economy, and pride in our community and country.
